The Counties Cricket Academy

The Counties Cricket Academy has been helping cricketers achieve their full potential since 2001 when we were officially opened by ex West Indies Captain Richie Richardson. We have since coached thousands; many of whom have gone onto play Minor County and County Cricket and continue to receive our support.

We want every person that comes to The Counties Cricket Academy to have a positive experience, feel welcome and a part of our ‘cricketing family’, and of course, enjoy the game!

Nheem Amin
Head Coach

Head Coach Nheem Amin has extensive cricket coaching experience as well as having played for Surrey CCC (2008) and Buckinghamshire CCC (2007). He started the academy in 2001 and has coached many who have now gone on to play County Cricket; including AJ Dale who started with the academy at the age of 4 and now at 18 has signed for Hampshire CCC

Always enjoyed working with Nheem
Always nice to have a coach you trust but when that coach is a person you trust it makes going to work a lot easier.
Good chats on and off the field about work or play makes each passing moment spent with Nheem enjoyable unless you’re the brunt of his banter , if you are it isn’t a happy place.
Very hardworking and very knowledgeable not only about the game but about life.
